Description
Soft and luxurious merino fibre wrapped around a core thread, plied with a fine Italian silk thread. This is corespun hand spun yarn at its most indulgent. The yarn is soft and lofty with lots of lovely texture. It is perfect for adding interest to garments as an accent for collar, cuff or pocket top. Use on its own for hats, scarves, mittens and other accessories. I like to add it to my weaving to create areas of extra interest within the cloth.
As with my other yarns I have aimed to design something that means that even the beginner knitter can just cast on and knit, plain old knit stitch will do, to create something exciting and funky. This Evening Heather colourway is part of my Cornwall Collection that is inspired by the delights of the Cornish landscape and seascape. Low evening sun hitting the heather in the hedgebanks lining the lane on the way to my moorland home provided the inspiration for this purple, pink and green based colourway.

Cool, gentle, hand wash only. Squeeze and roll in a towel to absorb extra water. Dry flat. Do not tumble dry, not even for a moment!
