Needle Felt Landscape Workshop

Come and spend a lovely morning with me learning to create a beautiful needle felt landscape at new premises of The Misses Lobb, Unit 9, Dunveth Business Park, Wadebridge, PL27 7FE.

I will guide you through the process of selecting and laying out fibres, hand blending them for colour and choosing fibres from different sheep breeds for textural effects. You will then learn how to use the felting needle safely to felt your fibres securely into place to create your landscape.

I will bring a vast array of fibres of different colours and will talk about the different types of fibres and what they are useful for in 2D needle felting. There will also be a selection of beads etc if you would like to embellish your picture. All materials for the workshop will be provided and there will be an opportunity to buy additional fibre to take home and practice your new skills with.

Just bring some inspiration and pictures for reference if you have any (there will be some available on the day too), a basic sewing kit and any beads or interesting bits and pieces you might want to embellish your work with.

Suitable for all abilities though not for children under 12, this is the perfect workshop for anyone looking to try their hand at something different.
